5- Day Rome & Assisi

Pilgrimage by Air from £499

Day 1: [Flight to Rome]

Upon arrival in Rome, coach transfer to hotel. Start with dinner.

Day 2: [Rome]

Mass at St Peter’s Basilica and guided tour including a visit to Crypt, tombs of St Peter and recent Popes, tour of Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel. Afternoon is free for your leisure. (Half-board).

Day 3: [Rome]

Walking tour of Old Rome including the Roman Forum, Colosseum & St Peter in Chains to view the world famous statue of Moses.

In the afternoon we visit the Catacombs and St Paul Outside the Walls, built over the site of the saint’s martyrdom. Then onto one of the catacombs, burial place for the early Christians.

 Day 4: [Assisi]

After breakfast we depart for Assisi, the Birthplace of St Francis. guided tour of St Francis Basilica, the Basilica of St Mary of the Angels and other places associated with St Francis. In the evening, we drive back to Rome to spend our final day of the tour.

Day 5: [Rome—London]

Our final day in Rome. Breakfast and Mass in the morning and fly back to London.
